This composition is based on a quote I heard after the events of September 11, 2001. The quote is, "The planes crashed, the towers fell, the gates of heaven opened and the angels wept..."

Based on a Salvador Dali work entitled, "Ballerina in a Death's Head, this piece is a dark waltz.
Viam Mortis (Path of the Dead)
This composition is a musical representation of Jesus ' journey through the streets of Jerusalem carrying the cross on the way to Golgotha and his crucifixion.
The Playground March
This composition was inspired by a group of children I observed playing at a local playground. At one point they were playing follow the leader and marching together in time. The joy of childhood.
The Crying Girl
This composition was inspired by a pair of comic art designs by graphic artist Roy Lichtenstein. The two pieces are entitled, "The Crying Girl.
Pieta
Inspired by the Michelangelo sculpture of the same name, this programmatic composition depicts the deep sorrow of Jesus' mother, Mary, as she holds his lifeless body beneath the cross.

Hail to the Heroes
This composition is in honor of those that serve our country in the armed forces. The piece is in ternary form. The first section is march-like in style, while the middle portion is honors their families on the homefront. The original melody returns leading to a powerful ending.

Musical depiction of the multitude of stories, myths and legends that surround the Knights Templar. The use of chant and instruments native to the Middle East help in representing the religious-based knights and the crusade through the Holy Lands.
